David Gerrer, Physical Therapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, Owner of Journey Physical Therapy.

What makes our services unique in the community and why I am successful helping clients get quick-lasting results is the combined success of the manual medicine "hands-on approach" and 29 years of clinical experience as a practicing physical therapist.

My true passion of being able to help people overcome obstacles so they can remain active is what motivates me in my work.

I met David Gerrer at the Hendersonville CO-OP's Wellness Fair. He was kind enough to spend significant time with me helping me to align my expectations with a recent shoulder / bicep surgery and showed me some exercises to do on my own. I first came to David with very bad sciatica pain, pain I had been dealing with for months. I had been seeing a chiropractor and that did help, but when I had a relapse, I knew I needed to get serious about relieving this kind of pain. I'm a gym rat, and not only was it affecting my exercise routing, but also my daily life. I went to David for 3 months, 7 sessions. He is thorough, so knowledgeable, actually spends time with you and explains things. He gave me the tools/exercises so that I can continue to work out and enjoy daily activities without any pain. I came to David after 2 months of PT with Emerge Ortho. He really took some time to analyze my hip issue. He put me into a complete set of rehab exercises both in the water and the gym. I've seen serious improvement and strongly recommend if you are thinking about a top level PT person, please call David. You will not be disappointed - he's the "real deal"!

I am so thankful to have been referred to David Gerrer of Journey PT. I have never had a Physical Therapist to help me like him, especially with the high level of personal care that he gives. He listens. He processes and explains. He is professional, courteous, kind, knowledgeable, understanding, experienced, helpful, and caring. I am sooo glad that I found him. I have learned so much. His facility is clean and easy to get to. At each session, it has just been me, no other clients at the same time. There is not a big room with lots of people, equipment in use by others, distractions, and chaos. It is a calm, inviting, and safe place. The sessions have been so very helpful.
